4.8 magnitude earthquake hits western districts

KATHMANDU, Nov 12: An earthquake tremor was felt in Achham, Dailekh , Birendranagar and Dadeldhura districts Sunday night.



The US Geological Survey measured the magnitude of the earthquake 4.8 on Richter scale. The earthquake hit the districts at 12:24 am. [break]



No physical damage or human loss has been reported so far.  Only last Monday, an earthquake of 5.7 on Richter scale had hit Kathmandu and some other parts of the country.
