The bus (Ma 1 kha 918) en-route to Dobhan, Taplejung met with the accident early this morning while trying to give way to a milk van, informed assistant driver of the bus, Nabin Rijal. [break]
The injured have been sent to Jhapa, Biratnagar and Ilam for treatment.
The identities of the injured are not ascertained yet. The Ilam-Phidim section of the Mechi Highway have been disrupted due to the accident.
A team of policemen are trying to clear the road and ease traffic movement, informed Rajeshnath Bastola, police chief, Paanchthar.
