The selected 18 contestants went through a question answer round with the panel of judges. [break]
Pradeep Man Vaidya, CEO for Century Bank, Narayan Puri, CEO for Himalayan Television and Akhil Chapagain, president of Nepal-Turkey Chamber of Commerce were the judges.
The participants were questioned on a variety of topics ranging from Global warming to politics and current social and economic situation of the country.
Answering a question by the judges on the meaning of beauty and brains, Astha Shrestha, contestant number 7 said “while beauty is the art of presenting ones features, brain is the capacity to tackle situations.”
Sanina Gautam, contestant number 12, shared confidently,” I am here to win and not just for the experience.”

Kunchang Moktan, the 2009 Miss Nepal Second Runner up, has been grooming the participants in the 16 day camp.
Priyanka Karki in 2005, Khusboo Oli in 2006 and Ayusha Karki 2007 have been the past winners of the pageant which is scheduled to take place on 28 December at the Nepal Academy Hall, Kamaladi.
The winner on Wednesday will be succeeding Kreety Tamang Lama, Republica Miss Teen 2010
