Three of four goals for Three Star came through header with Bijay Gurung scoring twice. Yogesh Gurung and Santosh Sahukhala, who got the captain´s arm-band, scored one apiece. [break]
The result lifted Three Star with three points to fifth position from 13th. Bauddha yet to open account dropped to the bottom of the table. Sherpa, with four points as that of leader Machhindra and third and fourth placed MMC and Sankata, climbed to second from fourth. All of them have played two matches each.

Three Star´s coach Pradip Humagain was however not satisfied with his side´s performance. "Though we won the match the performance is not enough to lift the title. The best of the team is yet to come," said Humagain whose side had lost its opening match 2-1 to minnow Saraswati Club.
Bijay gave an early fourth minute lead to Three Star after Bauddha goalie Ranjit Gurung fumbled a feeble shot of skipper Sahukhala paving the way to make an easy goal for Bijay.
In the one sided match, Yogesh Gurung left unmarked, doubled the advantage with a diving header from the area in an acute cross of Victor. Bijay made it 3-0 in similar fashion in pass of Bikram Limbu. The fourth goal came from skipper Sahukhala who made a diving header to send the ball past goalie.
Bauddha could not make a single attack on target leaving the former Three Star captain and custodian Kiran Chemjong pressure free. Bauddha´s last defender Buddha Lama was force to leave the match after he picked head injury in the 29th minute.
Following his side´s second defeat in a row Bauddha coach Kiran Shrestha said that his team was under pressure. "Every team is doing well with quality foreigner players. We could not field two African players today as the paperwork is yet to be complete. Hopefully they will be in the next match," Shrestha said adding his side failed to perform well due to absence of his set players - Adarsh Shahi and Rajan Adhikari owing to injuries. Commenting on weak defense line, Shrestha said, "Last defender Buddha Lama had to be replaced thus our defense-lineup weakened."
In the late match of the day, Sherpa´s ambition of going to the top of the table was dashed after it failed to score despite creating about half a dozen chances in the second half.
After a drab first half, Sherpa piled up consistence pressure in the second half but tight marking from Bansbari defenders and energetic performance by goalie Ajit Prajapati prevented any goals
Sherpa came up with four African players in the squad including Gerrard Mukonza who scored 11 goals for Jawalakhel in the last edition of the league. Mukonza missed two chances while Samuel Mubiru also wasted a chance. Ganesh Khadka´s header in the last moment was denied by custodian Prajapati.
Bansbari´s 41st minute attempt through Ritesh Shrestha was saved by goalie Binay Shrestha. During an hour mark, Yabak Ghale fired high above the bar from a close range.
Bansbari coach Hari Om Shrestha expressed satisfaction with the team´s performance. "All players put up hard effort today and the defense was superb," Shrestha said adding that it was difficult to earn good results without foreigner players. He also hinted that his side might come up with foreigner players in the next match.
Sherpa coach Meghraj KC said that the pace was uneven during the first half as foreigner players had not fully adjusted with the team. "We had about half a dozen post attacks in the second half but failed to score."
