293 Nepalis residing abroad have lost their lives due to the coronavirus
KATHMANDU, November 22: As much as 91 percent of Non-resident Nepalis (NRNs) have recovered from COVID-19 as of Saturday.
According to the Health Committee of the Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA), 42,803 of the total 46,578 NRNs who contracted COVID-19 have recovered as of Saturday.

Similarly, 293 NRNs living in 19 countries have lost their lives due to the coronavirus, according to the NRNA’s Health Committee.
Eighty-four NRNs in Saudi Arabia, 69 in the UK and 40 in India have succumbed to COVID-19 so far.
The NRNA has been tracking the data of NRNs suffering from COVID-19 across the world with the help of Nepali diplomatic missions, its country chapters, Nepali doctors working in various hospitals and social organizations.
In Nepal alone, with 1,674 new cases of COVID-19 on Saturday, the total case tally has reached 218,639.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population, a total of 193,325 patients have so far got over the disease.
The number of COVID-19 related deaths in Nepal has reached 1,305 as of Saturday.
