Bangladesh leads 2-1 in SAFF Women's Championship final

KATHMANDU, Oct 30: Bangladesh has taken a 2-1 lead against Nepal in the final of the SAFF Women's Championship. The crucial goal came in the 81st minute at Dasharath Stadium, Tripureshwar, giving Bangladesh the advantage in this highly anticipated title clash.

Earlier, Monika Chakma opened the scoring for Bangladesh in the 53rd minute. However, Nepal’s Amisha Karki responded just three minutes later, leveling the match with a well-placed goal. Despite Nepal’s efforts, Bangladesh regained the lead with their second goal in the closing stages of the match.  


The final remains tense as both teams push for the championship title.
