KATHMANDU, August 25: Aakash Budhamagar scored twice in the first half and Birjesh Chaudhary found the net in the stoppage time as Nepal U-15 swept aside Bangladesh 4-2 in the semi-final match held at the ANFA Complex, Satdobato, on Friday. Nepal will face India in final of SAFF U-15 championship on Sunday. India defeated Bhutan 3-0 in the other semi-final match to reach the final.
Nepal was 3-0 up by 65th minute as Bangladesh’s Nozmul Biswas found his own net to score a suicide goal adding to Budhamagar's dual strikes in 18th and 30th minute in the first half for Nepal.
Bangladesh romped back in the match with two back to back strikes in the 73rd minute. Foisal Ahmed made the score sheets as the green team kept pressing in later stages of the match only to succumb to a counter attack lead by Nepal’s Chaudhary to seal the match.
