MANCHESTER, Nov 4: Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure has sought to mend his relationship with manager Pep Guardiola and regain a place in the team by apologizing for his agent's outbursts.
Dimitri Seluk said in September that Guardiola humiliated Toure by leaving him out of City's squad for the Champions League. That irritated Guardiola, who said Toure wouldn't play for City again until he received an apology.

Toure wrote Friday on Facebook: "I wish to apologize — on behalf of myself and those who represent me — to the management team and all those working at the club for the misunderstandings from the past."
The Ivorian said unspecified "statements do not represent my views on the club or the people who work there."
