We need to move forward by following instruction of the coalition leaders: Minister Bhusal

KATHMANDU, April 16: CPN (Maoist Center) leader and Minister for Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation Pampha Bhusal has stressed on the need to follow the instructions of the top leaders of the ruling coalition.


Speaking at a program organized in Lalitpur on Saturday, Minister Bhusal said, "The upcoming election is being held between the forces institutionalizing changes and reversing the change. Therefore, the candidates of the alliance should be elected to institutionalize political achievements that have been made so far.”

Stating that the constitution has ensured many issues including republicanism, secularism and inclusion as a result of people's war and people's movement, Minister Bhusal clarified that an alliance is needed to defend the constitution. "The fact that there is still a danger of regression has been confirmed by practice, and the alliance needs to be strengthened to overcome that danger," she said.


On the occasion, she also said that the country’s economy is not in peril and said that the country's economy based on agriculture is under pressure due to external factors. "Let's use domestic products to strengthen the country's economy, use electric vehicles and electric stoves in kitchens,” Minister Bhusal said.


Furthermore, Minister Bhusal also mentioned that not only luxury goods but also billions of rupees worth of food items are being imported from foreign countries.
