KATHMANDU, Feb 14: The main opposition CPN (UML) has termed the impeachment motion against the Chief Justice as a part of conspiracy of the ruling alliance.

UML general secretary Shankar Pokharel said the party has decided to challenge the move by taking it seriously. He also stated that the recent move of the ruling alliance is aimed at destabilizing the relations between the ruling and opposition parties.
Sunday’s meeting also decided to hold the parliamentary party meeting of the CPN-UML on Monday. The meeting is expected to take important decisions to challenge the move of the ruling alliance to register an impeachment motion against Chief Justice Rana, General Secretary Pokharel said.
