KATHMANDU, June 27: The ruling CPN-UML has called a meeting of the 10th General Convention Organizing Committee’s meeting for June 30.
A Standing Committee meeting held on Sunday decided to summon the convention organizing committee’s meeting in Kathmandu, according to the party’s Spokesperson Pradeep Gyawali.
UML to hold district convention on January 7
Gyawali said that Sunday’s meeting dwelled on various issues of national importance ranging from the current political scenario and various aspects of national politics. “The organizing committee’s meeting has been called to hold necessary discussions and take decisions accordingly,” he added.
The Supreme Court, however, did not recognise the committee and annulled the actions taken by it through its June 10 order.
