UML candidate Sherpa wins the post Gaurishankar rural municipality chair

KATHMANDU, Dec 3: CPN-UML candidate Uma Lungelimagar Sherpa has been elected Vice Chairperson of Gaurishankar rural municipality in Dolakha district.


She secured 2,805 votes while her nearest contender Nim Leki Sherpa of CPN (Maoist Center) collected 2,600 votes.

Similarly, NC's Padsiki Tamang was able to collect 1727, RPP's Man Kumari Shrestha 128, RSP's Goma Shrestha 100 and CPM (Maoist Centre) Rabina Khadka 90.
