BUTWAL, April 19: Two ministers of the Lumbini Province cabinet have resigned from their ministerial posts.

With CPN (Maoist Center) withdrawing its support extended to the province government, ministers Sudarshan Baral and Kul Prasad KC on Monday stepped down from the Shankar Pokharel-led cabinet.  Baral was the Minister of Social Development, and KC was the Minister for Internal Affairs and Law.

The Maoist party has formed an alliance with the main opposition Nepali Congress (NC) and Janata Samajbadi Party (JSP) to register a no-confidence motion against Lumbini CM Pokharel on Monday.
