KATHMANDU, Oct 2: Newly appointed Vice-Chair Dr Devraj Rokka and members Dr Dipak Bikram Thapa Chhetri and Dr Surendra Bar Singh Thapa of the Bagmati Province Policy and Planning Commission took oath of office and secrecy on Friday.

Bagmati Province Chief Minister Kiran Thapa Magar administered the oath to the newly appointed officials.
Rokka holds a PhD in political economy from the University of International Business and Economics in Beijing, China. He has also held various positions in the government and non-government sectors and previously served as executive vice-chair of the Youth and Small Entrepreneur Self-Employment Fund under the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
