KATHMANDU, March 9: In response to potential threats of rioting, illegal activities, and violations of social norms, authorities have increased security in sensitive areas. The focus is on the stretch from Tribhuvan International Airport to Nirmal Niwas in Maharajgunj, which has been deemed a high-risk zone.

With heightened vigilance, vehicles are no longer allowed to enter the airport premises, ensuring tighter control over the area. Security measures intensified further as the former king’s supporters gathered in front of the airport, staging a demonstration. He is returning from Pokhara.
