Speaker asks Baban to cooperate with police

KATHMANDU, Dec 2: Speaker Subas Nembang has instructed the parliament secretariat to write to lawmaker Baban Singh, who has been accused of attempted kidnapping and attempted murder, to cooperate with the police in investigations.



One Rajesh Man Singh has accused lawmaker Singh, Lal Bahadur Pandey Shastri and Ravibhusan Pandey of attempting to kidnap and murder him. [break]



Police have already arrested Pandey and Shastri, but have been unable to nab Baban.



Earlier, the police had written to the parliament secretariat seeking Singh´s cooperation in the investigations.
