KATHMANDU, July 20: Senior leader of CPN-UML, Madhav Kumar Nepal has indicated that he will soon form a new party.

Addressing a function organized in the capital to mark the Pushpa Lal Memorial Day in Champadevi in Kathmandu on Thursday, senior leader Nepal said that nobody chooses to stay if he/she is subjected to repeated humiliation.

"No one has the desire to go away from the house he/she built. But no one stays put facing constant humiliation," said Nepal, hinting at his own predicament. "No one should stay put facing the wrong deeds of others. We have not received orientation to stay put even after facing humiliation."

Senior leader Nepal is considered to have strengthened the party's organization to this stage after taking the UML's responsibility following the demise of Madan Kumar Bhandari. He currently faces the Hamletian dilemma as Chairman Oli and his loyals have been repeatedly humiliating him in the party.

Arguing that people used to humiliating others also humiliate society and the country as well, senior leader Nepal said that such kind of tendency should be discouraged. He also revealed his desire to make the “revolutionary communist movement” in the country further strong.

Leader Nepal said that he will decide the future course of action after seeing how Chairman Oli takes the party forward. "We are currently watching how the party is taken forward. We will determine our path accordingly," he further said.

Youth wing cadres close to Chairman Oli had earlier staged a 'monkey rally' demonizing Nepal for extending his support to Nepali Congress (NC) President Sher Bahadur Deuba in the prime ministerial race. He termed the criticisms and protests being organized by the UML cadres in recent days nothing but a drama. He said that those protesting against him were criminals and goons.
