KATHMANDU, June 10: Nepali cricket team spinner Sandeep Lamichhane is set to participate in the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup.
According to the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN), Lamichhane is included in Nepal's national cricket team for the matches to be held in the West Indies.
CAN issued a statement today confirming that Lamichhane has already left for the West Indies to join the squad for the World Cup.
Lamichhane will participate in the matches against South Africa and Bangladesh in the West Indies.
Previously, he was unable to participate in Nepal's match in the United States due to visa issues. Pratish GC has been placed in the traveling reserve, while Lamichhane will play from the pre-announced team.
