KATHMANDU, Feb 1: As there were no applications received for the post of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) in its previous call, Sajha Yayat has made a fresh call for applications for the post. 


Sajha Yatayat in a public notice on Thursday asked all interested candidates to submit their applications by December 11.


As no application has been received, a new application process has been initiated to appoint a new CEO through open competition.

Eligible and interested Nepali citizens can apply for the post within 35 days. It is mentioned in the notice that the application can be given at the head office of Sajha Yatayat in Pulchowk, Lalitpur.


The applicants must have at least a master's degree or equivalent academic qualification and have taken responsibility at the 10th level or equivalent in a public or organized institution.


The applicant should have at least 10 years of experience in the field of cooperative or public administration or transport management. The age limit has been set between 35 years to 58 years by the last date of application.


In addition to the application, the applicant must verify and submit the documents and details as per section 6 of the Chief Executive Officer Position published on the website of Sajha Yatayat and self-declaration as per sub-section (2) of the same section.


All applicants have been asked to submit copies of educational qualifications, experience certificate, copy of Nepali citizenship certificate, personal details, and two copies of passport size photograph and professional action plan (not exceeding 5,000 words) in an envelope to the Employee Administration Department of Sajha Yatayat.


"Application and business plan for the post of Chief Executive Officer of Sajha Yatayat " should be mentioned outside the envelope of the proposal. The first page of the professional action plan should be attached to the cover page of the prescribed format in Schedule 2 and only the prescribed details of the candidate should be filled in the cover page. If the existing employee wants to apply, he or she should also attach a letter of departmental approval from the serving department.
