KATHMANDU, March 4: The Central Security Committee has concluded that all security preparations for the upcoming House of Representatives election are complete.
The committee, chaired by Home Minister Om Prakash Aryal, held a meeting on Wednesday and assessed preparations for the March 5 election. According to Anand Kafle, Head of Security and Coordination Division at the Home Ministry, all security agencies provided briefings during the meeting, after which the committee confirmed that election security arrangements are finalized.

Decisions taken include patrolling sensitive areas by helicopter, collecting intelligence on potential anti-election activities, and taking immediate legal action against any unlawful activities.
The committee also encouraged citizens to participate confidently in the election, assuring that security measures have been fully implemented.
The meeting was attended by Home Minister Aryal, Home Secretary Rajkumar Shrestha, Secretary of the Ministry of Defence Kedar Nath Sharma, heads of security agencies, and senior officials of the Home Ministry.
