Area Police Office, Mungling, said removing the debris will be time consuming as the landslide has brought giant boulders on the road.
The traffic obstruction has left hundreds of passengers and vehicles stranded on the highway. Mudslide is continuing as the rainfall has not stopped yet, locals said.
