Nepal face mighty Australia in a must-win match today

Nepal will play against Australia today in the ICC U-19 Women's T20 World Cup.

KATHMANDU, Jan 22: Nepal will play against Australia today in the ICC U-19 Women's T20 World Cup.


The match will start at 12:15 pm at the YSD-UKM Cricket Oval in Bangi, Malaysia.


Nepal are under pressure to win today’s game. After losing both of their previous matches, Nepal must win today to keep their Super Six chances alive.


In their first game, Nepal lost to Bangladesh by five wickets.

In their second match, Nepal lost to Scotland by one wicket. Despite a strong start, Nepal failed to take the final wicket against Scotland.


Scotland managed a 16-run partnership for the last wicket, costing Nepal the chance to secure their first World Cup win.


Today, Nepal must address the weaknesses from their previous matches and perform well to defeat the mighty Australia.


Australia have already defeated both Bangladesh and Scotland. They are playing their final group-stage match today. As the top team in the group, Australia have shown strength throughout the tournament.


Bangladesh and Scotland hold second and third positions, respectively. To reach the Super Six stage, Nepal must win at least one match in the group stage.


Bangladesh and Scotland will face off at 8:15 am today. The team from Group D that will progress to the Super Six will be decided today.
