KATHMANDU, Jan 6: Kathmandu pollution reached an all time high at 8 am yesterday, republica's Valley pollution index showed. While valley's pollution largely stayed to be harmful throughout the day , yesterday, it exceeded 150µg/m3. Air quality exceeding the 150 mark to reach 155µg/m3, severely dangerous to all age groups.

The standard of WHO is 25µg/m3 while the index shows the pollution almost 6 times which is very severe and intolerable for our health.
The pollution index is almost thrice the government set standard of 40µg/m3.
