Krishna Prasad Sharma Tiwari, a resident of Pipaltari VDC-9 killed his second and youngest daughters Namuna, 8 and Nabina 6, by throwing them alive into the swollen river in the night of July 31, according to the District Police Office, Parbat. [break]
"Though a special patrol team has been mobilized to find the bodies of the Tiwari sisters, we have not been successful in our attempt yet", said Deputy Superintendent of Police Surendra Bahadur Gurung.
Accused Tiwari has already confessed to killing his two daughters among three by throwing them alive into the river from a motorable bridge near his house.
Earlier, he had reported that an unidentified gang kidnapped his children from the house, asking for ransom. He claimed that he killed his daughters owing to poor financial situation.
Tiwari admitted his crime before the the tram deputed by the Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) of Nepal Police from Kathamandu.
Upon revelation of the facts, police have already filed a case against Tiwari at the District Court, Parbat and investigation into the case is underway, it is learnt.
Currently, children´s mother Radhika is in Israel for foreign employment.
