PM calls joint meeting of all seven provincial Chief Ministers today

KATHMANDU, Nov 2: Prime Minister Sushila Karki has called a joint meeting with all seven provincial chief ministers, which is scheduled to take place this afternoon.



According to the Prime Minister’s Secretariat, the meeting will be held at 4 PM at the Prime Minister’s residence in Baluwatar.

The meeting has been convened to strengthen dialogue and coordination between the federal and provincial governments in the changed political context, the PM’s Press Coordinator Ram Bahadur Rawal stated.


Those attending the meeting include Hikmat Bahadur Karki, Chief Minister of Koshi Province; Jitendra Prasad Sonar, Chief Minister of Madhesh Province; Indra Bahadur Baniya, Chief Minister of Bagmati Province; Surendra Raj Pandey, Chief Minister of Gandaki Province; Chet Narayan Acharya, Chief Minister of Lumbini Province; Yam Lal Kandel, Chief Minister of Karnali Province; and Kamal Bahadur Shah, Chief Minister of Sudurpaschim Province.
