PHC unanimously approves Nepali's appointment as Sri Lankan ambassador

The government had recommended Nepali, who is from Kapilvastu, for the post on November 21.

KATHMANDU, Dec 29: The Parliamentary Hearing Committee (PHC) has unanimously approved Purna Bahadur Nepali as Nepal's ambassador to Sri Lanka. The government had recommended Nepali, who is from Kapilvastu, for the post on November 21.

During the committee's meeting on Sunday, they expressed appreciation to the government for the inclusive recommendation process. Nepali, who is committed to promoting Lumbini and boosting tourism, thanked both the government and the committee for their support.
