KATHMANDU, Oct 30: The parliamentary hearing committee (PHC) has endorsed the appointment of Sewa Lamsal, secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as Nepal’s ambassador to Belgium.
After the meeting of the Council of Ministers recommended her for the ambassadorial job, the meeting of the PHC held a hearing on whether or not to endorse her appointment. A complaint was filed against her by Kumar Bahadur Shrestha, the Nepali Acting Ambassador in Israel.

With the committee’s endorsement, President Ramchandra Poudel will appoint her.
