KATHMANDU, July 29: The Parliamentary Hearing Committee has unanimously endorsed Dr Rajib Subba and Guru Wagle as members of the Election Commission (EC).
The two nominees appeared before the committee for a parliamentary hearing on Tuesday before receiving unanimous approval.

The Constitutional Council had recommended Subba and Wagle for appointment as Election Commissioners during its meeting on July 3.
Their appointments will now proceed in accordance with the constitutional process following the committee’s endorsement.
