Hearing on petitions against President today
PM Pushpa Kamal Dahal, while speaking at a public function in Kathmandu on January 15, 2020, had said that he would take the responsibility for the 5,000 people who were killed by CPN-Maoist during the conflict.
As a result, two petitions were filed today against PM Dahal. These petitions hold him responsible for the loss of life, damage, and destruction that occurred during the decade-long Maoist insurgency. They demand his immediate arrest and a thorough investigation into the severe charges brought against him.
