KATHMANDU, Sept 16: The Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has hiked the price of petroleum products, effective from midnight on Friday.

As per the latest update, the cost of petrol has been increased by Rs 1 per liter, while the prices of diesel and kerosene have been increased by Rs 3 per liter.
Following this adjustment, the new price of petrol in major cities like Kathmandu, Pokhara, and Dipayal will stand at Rs 183 per liter. In cities such as Charaali, Biratnagar, Janakpur, Amlekhganj, Nepalgunj, Dhangadhi, and Birgunj, the price will be Rs 180.50 paisa per liter, while it will cost Rs 182 per liter in Surkhet and Dang.
