Furthermore, the NOC has revealed that the cost of liquefied petroleum (LP) gas for cooking has surged by Rs 22.66 per cylinder. Despite the hike in prices from India, NOC has decided not to increase prices in Nepal, prioritizing consumer interests.

At present, petrol prices in Nepal range from Rs 169.50 to Rs 172 per liter, while diesel and kerosene are priced between Rs 157.50 and Rs 160 per liter, varying by location. The price of cooking gas stands at Rs 1,910 per cylinder.
