He was admitted to a hospital at the destination country two months ago after a stomach ailment, and he died shortly afterwards. He had gone to Saudi Arabia through a manpower company based in Kathmandu.

Mandal's wife Bimaladevi shared her financial problems to look after her two daughters and a son after the death of their only breadwinner.

She had informed the concerned authority following the death of her husband, but still the body has not arrived back home. Mandal's relatives are also putting on hold mourning rituals, said Chandan Yadav, Programme Officer of Sabal Nepal, an NGO working for migrant workers.
