Nepali artists in Indonesia

Nepali artists- Shyam Sundar Yadav, Bibhushan Tamrakar, Jaya Sharma and Anita Bhattarai are in Indonesia to exhibit their art work at the Bali-based art gallery, Agung Rai Museum of Art.

Nepali artists- Shyam Sundar Yadav, Bibhushan Tamrakar, Jaya Sharma and Anita Bhattarai are in Indonesia to exhibit their art work at the Bali-based art gallery, Agung Rai Museum of Art. The exhibition titled ‘Together’ is jointly organized under the collaboration of  Mithila Yain Art Gallery and Bina Gallery of Indonesia.Mithila Yain Art Gallery is known to promote local art and has exhibited Nepali art in various countries including Nepal, India, Bangladesh, France, Mexico, Sri Lanka and more.  “Collaboration between national and international artist will help to promote Nepali art in a global platform,” says Yadav coordinator of    Mithila Yain Art Gallery

The exhibition is featuring 36 artworks of 21 Nepalese and Indonesian artists. Organizer and participant Yadav stated that folk, traditional and modern arts are getting market these days. He informed that he has faetured traditional art like Mithila art and Paubha art in the exhibition along with digital and creative art.
