KATHMANDU, Nov 17: Nepal recorded 412 new cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday along with 202 recoveries and one death, according to the latest information provided by the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP).
As many as 12,993 samples were tested for COVID-19 on the same day. Of them, 363 PCR and 49 antigen tests were tested positive for the deadly virus.

There are currently 7,920 active cases of COVID-19 across the country. Among them, 7,163 are in home isolation, 473 in institutional isolation, 224 in ICU’s and 60 on ventilators. Similarly, 99 are currently in quarantine facilities. So far, 11,483 people have died from the virus across the country.
Meanwhile, the Kathmandu Valley recorded 149 cases of the virus on Wednesday. Of them, 102 were recorded in Kathmandu, 15 in Bhaktapur, and 32 in Lalitpur districts.
