KATHMANDU, April 6: Nepal recorded 13 new cases of COVID-19 along with 57 recoveries and zero death from the deadly virus on Wednesday, according to the information released by the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP).
As many as 4,807 swab samples were tested for COVID-19 on the day. Of them, 10 PCR and three antigen tests turned out to be positive for the deadly virus.

There are currently 779 active cases of COVID-19 across the country. Among them, 726 are in self-isolation, 39 in institutional isolation, 12 in ICUs and two on ventilators. Similarly, 106 people are currently in quarantine facilities. So far, 11,951 people have died from the virus across the country.
Meanwhile, The Kathmandu valley recorded five cases of COVID-19 on the same day. Of them, all five cases were recorded in Kathmandu district.
