KATHMANDU, March 10: Nepal received Rs 839 billion in remittance in the first seven months of the current fiscal 2023/24. This amount is 21.6 percent more than that of the first seven months of the previous fiscal year.
Remittances have decreased in the month of Magh (mid-Jan to mid-Feb). According to the data released by the Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) on Sunday, Rs 105.78 billion in remittances was collected in Magh.

This amount is Rs 14 billion less compared to that received in Paush (mid-Dec to mid-Jan). In Paush, Rs 119.97 billion in remittance was received.
