Neck-to-neck competition between NC and CPN-UML in Nepalgunj

NEPALGUNJ, June 29:  There has been a tough competition among the four political parties in Nepalgunj Sub Metropolitan City.

NEPALGUNJ, June 29:  There has been a tough competition among the four political parties in Nepalgunj Sub Metropolitan City.


Of the 170 votes counted so far in Ward No. 1, Nepali Congress and CPN-UML have got 50 votes each while Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) has got 47 votes.

Similarly, Federal Socialist Forum Nepal has secured 25 votes. In total of 2,450 votes had been cast in the ward.


While the votes were counted from the two places at the initial phase, now the counting is taking place at four places, said returning officer Narayan Sapkota.
