NEPALGUNJ, Feb 14: Banke District Football Association (BDFA) has almost completed the preparations for the Second Nepalgunj Gold Cup football tournament to be held from March 9 at Nepalgunj stadium in Nepalgunj.
Dhawal returns to power in Nepalgunj Sub-metropolitan city
Organizing the press-meet in Nepalgunj on Tuesday, the organizer informed that the tournament will feature seven domestic clubs and one from India. According to BDFA's President Bhojraj Shahi three departmental teams including Nepal Police Club, Armed Police Force, Tribhuvan Army Club alongside host Nepalgunj XI, Manang Marsyangdi Club, CMG Club Sankata and Far-Western XI are the domestic clubs taking part in the tournament. Similarly Delhi United of India is the foreign team competing in the event.
The winner will win a purse of Rs 500,000 while the runner-up will bag Rs 251,000 along with trophies.
