KATHMANDU, July 4: The National Examination Board is going to publish the results of the Secondary Education Examination (SEE) according to the letter grading system.

NEB publishes SEE exam results
The government revised the Letter Grading Guideline, 2078 BS to include only those who score 35 in theory and 40 in practical. According to the guideline, if you get less than 35 marks in any subject, you will be written NG (Non Graded) and you will not be able to proceed to Grade 11 and the students with the result of writing NG will not get the original certificate.
However, NEB is said to implement the alphabetical/letter grading system without applying this provision in the guideline of SEE results this year. In this system, 'E' grade is also determined and certificates are distributed to the students.
NEB Chairperson Sharma said that in the current academic session, all the classes are taught according to the new syllabus, so the new grading system will be implemented from now on.
The result of the SEE examination held from March 31 to April 12, in which about 500,000 students from 2,036 examination centers in 77 districts participated, is ready to be announced by Friday.
