KATHMANDU, Feb 26: Nepali Congress (NC) leader Nabindra Raj Joshi has suffered a brain hemorrhage.
NC leaders close to Joshi family said he was rushed to Bir Hospital Thursday night after he suddenly experienced the hemorrhage. Joshi was transferred to Norvic Hospital on Friday morning for further treatment as per the suggestions of doctors at Bir Hospital.

Sources said Joshi had developed a blood clot in the brain obstructing the smooth flow of water to the body.
A stroke happens when the blood supply to part of the brain is cut off. Most strokes are caused by a blockage cutting off the blood supply to the brain.
The 57-year old Joshi is an influential NC leader. Most recently, he served as Minister for Industry.
