KATHMANDU, Sept 7: The Central Working Committee (CWC) of the Nepali Congress (NC) will meet again today, Monday.
The meeting is scheduled for 1 pm at the party’s central office. Following discussions, the meeting will prepare suggestions on issues Prime Minister Balendra Shah should raise on behalf of Nepal at the United Nations.

The party is also preparing to request a reconsideration of the date for ward conventions scheduled for September 10, citing widespread disruption caused by the Bhotekoshi floods and landslides.
At Sunday’s meeting, chaired by party President Gagan Kumar Thapa at the party’s central office in Lalitpur, Thapa briefed members on the situation in the flood affected areas after conducting an on-site inspection and meeting and holding discussions with victims.
Seventeen members spoke at Sunday’s meeting.
Those who expressed their views included General Secretaries Farmullah Mansur and Bahadur Singh Lama, along with members Arjun Narsingh KC, Mahendra Yadav, Surendra Prasad Chaudhary, Ramesh Rijal, Arjun Prasad Joshi, Dr Chandrakant Bhandari, Ajay Kumar Chaurasiya, Abdul Sattar, Rajendra Kumar KC, engineer Mohan Acharya, Prof Dr Govind Raj Pokharel, Bharat Kumar Shah and Sudhir Kumar Shivakoti.
Bagmati Province President Indra Bahadur Baniya and Karnali Province President Lalit Jung Shahi also addressed the meeting.
