NC puts off CWC meeting as some members test positive for COVID-19

KATHMANDU, April 28: The main opposition, Nepali Congress (NC) has postponed the scheduled meeting of its Central Working Committee (CWC) until further notice after some CWC members tested positive for COVID-19.

KATHMANDU, April 28: The main opposition, Nepali Congress (NC) has postponed the scheduled meeting of its Central Working Committee (CWC) until further notice after some CWC members tested positive for COVID-19.


Earlier, the meeting was called for Wednesday.

The party collected the swab samples of the committee members and employees for COVID-19 tests prior to the meeting. 


“Some CWC members and other employees have tested positive. So, the party has decided to put off the meeting until further notice,” reads a statement issued by the party.
