CHITWAN, March 28: Narayanghat-Mugling road section will remain closed for six hours daily until the next arrangement is made.
The road section connecting Kathmandu with touristy city Pokhara will be closed from 10 am until 4 pm starting Tuesday, Narayanghat-Mugling Road Section Project Office told Republica Online.
Essential vehicles such as ambulance, however, are allowed to pass through the under-construction road by arranging security measures.

The transportation has been halted due to the road widening works, said road construction project chief Chandra Narayan Yadav.
Previously, the Narayanghat-Mugling road section used to be halted for four hours from 10 am until 3 pm.
The road construction office has urged the drivers and the passengers to take an alternative route.
Those heading to east can use BP Highway which is shorter by 177 km than the Tribhuvan Highway.
Similarly, the passengers and drivers can also take up Naubise-Hetauda-Palung road section which is 108 km shorter than this road.
Similarly, a small vehicle can also pass through Kathmandu-Balkhu-Hetauda road section.
Originally, there was a plan to complete the road section within two years (in 2015). But it was delayed due to earthquakes and Indian blockades.
To date, only 41 percent of the work has been completed. There has been a plan to complete the road widening work in 2017.
