KATHMANDU, Dec 19: Minister for Water Supply, Pradeep Yadav, has directed the concerned bodies to promptly conclude the works related to the pipelines installed for supplying the water brought from Melamchi to different places in the Kathmandu Valley.
Minister Yadav issued this instruction after observing the work related to the pipeline installation at Indrachowk, Janabahal, New Road, Ason, among other places today. He also stressed the need for preventing water leakage.

Stating that water was leaking at many places as the quality of work was not assured, Minister Yadav directed the officials concerned to carry out repair and maintenance at the locations where there is water leakage.
Minister Yadav was accompanied by Ministry Secretary Pramila Devi Shakya Bajracharya and senior officials of the Kathmandu Upatyaka Khanepani Limited (KUKL), Project Implementation Directorate, during the inspection and monitoring visit.
