KATHMANDU, Dec 16: Karnali Province Police Office, Surkhet has arrested a man with two kilogram and 700 grams of opium.

According to the provincial police office, Surkhet, Gorakh Kusari, 53 was found having the hold of the drug when police searched him. Kasuri was arrested in the course of a search operation carried out by a joint team of Narcotics Control Bureau, Surkhet and police officers from Rukum and Simli acting on a special tip-off received by the police. Kusari has been detained for further investigation, according to police.
