Landslide debris on Kalikot road cleared, traffic resumes after four days of closure

KALIKOT, Sept 1: The landslide debris on the Kalikot road has been cleared on Sunday. The landslides, which occurred in various areas due to Wednesday evening's rainfall, were removed on Sunday.

KALIKOT, Sept 1: The landslide debris on the Kalikot road has been cleared on Sunday. The landslides, which occurred in various areas due to Wednesday evening's rainfall, were removed on Sunday.


After the Road Division Office, Jumla, was able to clear the landslide debris on the Kalikot section in four days, transportation on the road resumed.

On Sunday, Chief District Officer Ganesh Nepali, Police Chief DSP Arjun KC, Armed Police Chief Dipendra Raj Bista, and journalists conducted an inspection up to Kitu in Aathbis Municipality-5 of Dailekh.
