Traffic on Hetauda-Kathmandu road resumes

BAGMATI, Aug 27:  Traffic movement on the Hetauda-Kathmandu road which was earlier obstructed by a landslide has been restored. The Department of Roads removed the landslide debris deposited on the road, allowing vehicular movement to resume.

BAGMATI, Aug 27:  Traffic movement on the Hetauda-Kathmandu road which was earlier obstructed by a landslide has been restored. The Department of Roads removed the landslide debris deposited on the road, allowing vehicular movement to resume.


Makwanpur District Police Office’s Spokesperson and Deputy Superintendent of Police, Laxmi Bhandari, said the route was blocked by the monsoon-triggered mudslide at Indra Sarovar Rural Municipality-3 in Makwanpur.

Similarly, traffic movement on the Mahadevtar section of the Kanti Highway that had remained obstructed due to landslides has resumed.
