The road had been damaged by floods and landslides that occurred during continuous rainfall from September 27 and 28.

Although the road was temporarily repaired and opened for traffic from October 6, it was only partially open from October 18 as culverts needed to be installed.

After the road repairs were completed, the road is now open for two-way traffic, DSP Aryal said.
