CHITWAN, Aug 13: Traffic along the Narayangadh-Muglin and Muglin –Naubise road sections has been obstructed from Saturday afternoon due to landslide that occurred at different places following incessant rainfall since the past few days.
Chief of Narayangadh-Muglin Road Project, Chandra Narayan Yadav, said that the landslide occurred at Kalikhola, Chorkhola, Bhalukhola, Setidovan and Bhorle of the road section.
He said that transport service would resume after around three hours after removing debris if rainfall stops. As a result, a large number of passengers remain stranded.
Six sections of Jomsom-Korala road completed
Similarly, transport service along the Muglin-Naubise has been obstructed after landslide took place at 14 different places along the road section.
Chief of Division Road Office, Bharatpur, Dharmendra Jha, said that the landslide has taken place at Phisling, Kurintar, Majimtar, Jogimara and Benighat at 6:00 pm on Saturday.
Although one-way traffic was brought into operation from 2:00 am after removing the debris, it was disrupted after a landslide struck there again. RSS
