KATHMANDU, June 13: The Kathmandu Metropolitan City is organizing 'Dharmapath Mahotsav' today for promoting the intangible heritages of the city. The event is scheduled to be held at Dharmapath of Ward No. 23 in the city.
The Chairman of Kathmandu Metropolitan City-23, Macharaja Maharjan, said that the event is aimed at promoting different intangible heritages, including the local rites, musical instruments, dances and other heritages.
Koshi Wildlife Reserve organizing tourism festival

"The ward has run cultural training programmes for the preservation of such intangible heritages along with the practices of Guthi tradition. Youths and locals have been provided with singing, dancing and playing musical instruments skills, which will be performed in the festival," Maharjan shared.
Furthermore, the festival is aimed at promoting locally-produced goods and their marketing.
The festival includes cultural programmes, a health camp, stalls of local cuisines, handicraft showcase and others. Rss
